Argentine law firm Ojam Bullrich Flanzbaum has strengthened its team with the incorporation of Mariano Peruzzotti as a partner, a specialist in technology, privacy, consumer defense and intellectual property.

In his new role, Mariano will advise clients on a wide range of issues, from data protection compliance, cybersecurity and privacy, artificial intelligence, blockchain, cloud computing, big data and the internet of things.

Experienced in multi-jurisdictional compliance and data protection, Mariano will also coordinate legal analysis across different countries, serving local and regional requirement with a global focus. In addition, he is a lawyer with international experience, and also regularly pens articles and is a speaker at local and regional conferences.

Prior to joining the firm, he was a member of the IP practice at Marval O'Farrell & Mairal and prior to that, he worked in the Düsseldorf office of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer as a foreign visiting attorney in 2017, advising German and global companies on matters relating to technology and privacy.

He holds a master's degree in business law at the Universidad de San Andrés in Buenos Aires and is a certified information privacy professional accredited by the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
