Niederer Kraft Frey Advises SD Worx in Adessa Group Acquisition

Swiss law firm Niederer Kraft Frey has acted as a legal advisor to SD Worx People Solutions NV, a leading Belgian HR services provider, in its acquisition of the Adessa Group, a Swiss-based consulting firm offering digital HR solutions.

The transaction was led by Niederer Kraft Frey’s M&A partner Till Spillmann, assisted by senior associates Andrea Giger and Deirdre Ní Annracháin and junior associate Stephanie Huchler, all M&A specialist.

 

With its acquisition of the Adessa Group, SD Worx aims to strengthen its existing SAP and SuccessFactor teams, which will now on operate under the Adessa name.

 

SD Worx will also be able to offer more efficient HR processes and a digital workplace and expand its activities on the Swiss, Belgian and German markets, which is part of the company’s growth and innovation strategy.

With additional offices in Spain, Adessa also offers SD Worx a foothold in Iberia, which will prove useful as the group continues its European expansion.
