Miura among winners at Leaders League Private Equity Exchange Awards
Barcelona-based Miura Private Equity was a co-winner of the Best Spanish LBO Fund Award at the recent Private Equity Exchange Awards ceremony.
The Private Equity Exchange Awards – which are organized by Leaders League – recognizes the best performing private equity funds, limited partners and management teams. The winners are decided by a panel of 80 jury members.
In November this year, Miura closed Miura Frutas Fund, the largest Agribusiness fund in Europe with €350 million. Miura’s portfolio includes leading companies from Miura Fund II (2014) and Miura Fund III (2018) in industry, retail, services and the food & beverage sectors, including Citri&Co, Tiendanimal, The Reefer Group, The Visuality Corporation and Tragaluz.
The judging panel also recognised the environmental, social and governance initiatives run by Miura’s portfolio companies in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.
Miura has assets under management totaling more than €1 billion. The firm specializes in investments in Spanish companies with “attractive growth and consolidation plans, and with a clear international vocation”.
Since 2008, Miura has invested in more than 40 companies.
