Minsait, Indra's information technology unit, has acquired 70% of the Italian company SmartPaper, which specializes in digital document management solutions and services.
The agreement includes the integration of 100% of its subsidiaries Baltik and Smartest. In total, the group has more than 1,000 employees. This transaction reinforces the company's presence in the Italian 'Business Process Outsourcing' (BPO) market.
