Mexico’s SOLCARGO winds down, splits into 3 firms

Mexican law firm Solórzano, Carvajal, González y Pérez-Correa (SOLCARGO) has announced it has ceased operations and instead created three separate firms, Pérez Correa González, Solórzano Linaldi and Carvajal Machado.
The separation follows the 25-year existence as SOLCARGO. The three new firms are all based in Mexico City.
Pérez Correa González comprises a team of six partners: Luis González Nieves, Fernando Pérez Correa, José Covarrubias, Fernando Erraña. Omar Aguilar and Jorge Labastida.
Carvajal Machado specializes in administrative law, offering legal practice both in litigation and consulting, as well as regulatory and public affairs management.
The team is made up of founding partners Gustavo Carvajal Isunza and Juan Pedro Machado and partners María del Pilar Galván Luna and Carlos del Razo Ochoa.
Among the firm’s specialized practice areas are agrarian, environmental, energy, government and regulatory, litigation, standardization and antitrust.
For its part, Solórzano Linaldi is made up of two partners, Guillermo Javier Solórzano Leiro, and Luis Armando López Linaldi.
