Mexican law firm Gonzalez Calvillo has announced the opening of a new office in Monterrey, in the northern state of Nuevo León.
The new office, opening in the first quarter of 2024, will further expand the firm’s capabilities to continue providing world-class legal advice in a wide spectrum of practice areas while significantly enhancing our firm’s legal offerings to its local and global clients, the firm said in a statement.
The Monterrey office will include partners and other local lawyers with significant experience and reputation in their fields of expertise supported by the team headquartered in Mexico City, including leading specialist on nearshoring, energy, litigation, ESG and regulatory matters.
The firm’s presence in northern Mexico is the result of client demand for highly specialized local representation. As Gonzalez Calvillo expands this new office over the next several months, the firm will focus on serving some of the region’s strongest and fastest-growing sectors arising out of the re-shoring and nearshoring scenes.
The Monterrey office, working jointly with the firm’s existing Mexico City office, will enable GC to better support businesses and other stakeholders across Mexico’s northeastern region, which has already become a hub for several of the firm’s clients.
GC Monterrey is located at the exclusive Torre Sofia complex in San Pedro Garza García, in Monterrey’s metropolitan area.
