Luxembourg’s Helios office complex secures €159m refinancing

The 88,000m² Helios office complex in Luxembourg has secured a €159 million refinancing, marking one of the country’s largest office financing deals in recent years.
Located in Cloche d'Or, one of Luxembourg’s prime office districts, the Helios development is among the market’s most significant commercial real estate assets.
The financing was arranged by Banque Internationale à Luxembourg alongside Berlin Hyp, Bank of China (Luxembourg branch) and Eurobank.
Luxembourg law firm BSP advised the financial parties on the transaction. The firm acted as lead counsel to Banque Internationale à Luxembourg.
The BSP Banking & Finance team was led by partner Nicolas Widung, supported by senior counsel Françoise Pfeiffer, counsel Eda Dripps and senior associate Maria Natsiou.
