Firm hires 12-strong group and opens its 25th US office in Philadelphia.
Holland & Knight has announced that it has welcomed a group of 12 lawyers from Reed Smith and opened its first Pennsylvania office in Philadelphia.
The group is comprised of 11 partners and one of counsel, with expertise in areas including employee benefits, financial services, environmental law, intellectual property and commercial litigation. Notable figures among the new hires include Leonard Bernstein, who served as managing partner of Reed Smith's Philadelphia office, and John Martini, who chaired Reed Smith's global executive compensation and employee benefits practice.
Martini, who will become the offices executive partner, reflected on the move, saying: "Holland & Knight is a great fit for our team and our clients.
