Green Utility Acquires 5 MW Ready-to-Build Solar Project in Tuscany

Green Utility S.p.A. has acquired from Chaberton Sunscape JV, a joint venture between Chaberton Energy and Sunscape, 100% of the shares of a special purpose vehicle holding a ready-to-build photovoltaic project with an installed capacity of approximately 5 MW, located in Tuscany.

BIP Law and Tax assisted Green Utility S.p.A. with a team led by Equity Partner Marco Muscettola and composed of Manager Bianka Vecaj and Seniors Matteo Vagnoli and Clara Frasca for the transaction documents and corporate and real estate due diligence, and Senior Manager Nicoletta Bezzi for matters related to the permitting process.

Chaberton Sunscape JV was assisted by Parola Associati for the M&A aspects, with a team composed of Partner Andrea Coluzzi and Senior Associate Federica Re, and by the Energy-Real Estate team of CBA Studio Legale e Tributario for tax and real estate aspects, composed of Francesco Assegnati, Pierluigi Alessio, Andrea Motta, and Federica Uggeri.
