Gómez-Pinzón has promoted senior associates Juanita Pérez Botero, José Luis Palacios and Juan David Quintero to partners, on January 13th. With these promotions the firm seeks to strengthen its corporate, M&A, intellectual property & competition and energy & natural resources practices.

Juan David Quintero, a partner in the corporate/M&A practice, focuses his expertise on local and cross-border M&A operations, as well as on investment funds, joint ventures, private equity and corporate reorganizations.
With over 14 years’ experience, Juanita Pérez, a partner in the intellectual property practice, specializes in the management and administration of industrial property portfolios in Colombia and abroad, as well as in providing permanent legal advice to clients from different sectors regarding IP matters and franchise systems.
José Luis Palacios, a partner in the energy & natural resources practice, has broad experience in transactions related to the energy industry and has an extensive experience in the oil services industry as well. He has deep experience in the structuring, negotiation, interpretation and management of E&P contracts, associations, licenses, production sharing and profit sharing.
In addition to those making partner at Gómez-Pinzón, the firm has also promoted María Fernanda Restrepo to counsel, a corporate/M&A senior associate that has worked at the firm for over 25 years.
