Leo Schmidt-Hollburg Witte & Frank has announced the promotion of Oliver Käthner to partner in its Real Estate practice, effective January 1, 2026. With this appointment, the Real Estate team will consist of three partners and two associates, with further growth planned.

Käthner began his career at an international law firm, where he worked for two and a half years before joining LSWF in 2021. He advises both domestic and international clients, primarily on complex real estate transactions. His practice focuses on logistics and light industrial investments, high-volume and complex lease agreements, and real estate matters within M&A and private equity transactions.

“I am delighted that we can welcome Oliver Käthner to the partnership,” said Real Estate partner Dr. Lutz Hülsdunk. “This promotion reflects several years of successful collaboration, during which Oliver has consistently demonstrated legal excellence, innovation, and strong negotiation skills. He has also played a leading role in advancing the use of artificial intelligence within our team.”

Dr. Lars Behn, the partner responsible for recruitment, added: “With the third internal partner promotion in as many years, we continue to position our firm for growth while reaffirming that talented lawyers can take on entrepreneurial responsibility as partners. As of January 1, 2026, LSWF will comprise nine partners and a total of 21 lawyers. This expansion allows us to serve complex mandates across our core areas: Corporate/M&A, IP/IT/Data Protection, Employment/Restructuring, Real Estate, and Litigation.”
