Cuatrecasas names new energy partner in Bogotá

 Manuel Gómez Fajardo has over 15 years of professional experience advising domestic and multinational companies in the energy, gas, and residential utilities sectors, with a strong focus on regulatory and contractual matters, as well as constitutional and administrative public law. He has also represented clients in structuring projects and business models; in drafting and negotiating key industry contracts (PPAs, GSAs, EPCs, O&Ms, connection agreements, and commercial representation agreements, among others); and in designing regulatory strategies, as well as in strategic litigation for the sector.

 Gómez Fajardo holds a law degree from the Universidad del Rosario in Colombia and a master’s degree in law, awarded with distinction, from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He teaches courses on regulatory theory, regulation of residential public utilities, energy and gas regulation, and government contracting in master’s and specialization programs at the Universidad del Rosario and the Universidad de la Sabana.

He regularly participates as a panelist and moderator at various industry events.
