Creation Technologies Acquires Applied Technical Services

Canadian company Creation Technologies has acquired Applied Technical Services, an electronics manufacturing services provider that designs and builds electronics components used in a range of products across industries such as industrials and healthcare. The acquisition further expands Creation Technologies’ Pacific Northwest and Mexico presence and closed May7th.

Creation Technologies offers solutions to improve the life cycle of electronic products including turnkey designs, rapid prototyping, manufacturing, and fulfillment for its customers worldwide. The company operates eight manufacturing locations, two design centers and a rapid prototyping center, in the USA, Canada, Mexico, and China.

The acquisition expands Creation’s capabilities in the aerospace & defense, medical, tech and industrial markets. It adds locations in Everett, WA and Hermosillo, Mexico, each offering three highly automated state-of-the-art SMT lines as well as automated through-hole, ICT, flying probe, and functional test capabilities, benefitting Mexico's manufacturing industry.

Mexican law firm Solcargo acted for Creation Technologies with an M&A team made up of partner Fernando Eraña and associates Juan Carlos Izaza and Eduardo Montenegro.
