CorralRosales law firm, is betting on the growth of the legal market in Ecuador and more generally LatAm, by promoting Andrea Moya and Felipe Samaniego to a partner level position, to lead the tax and regulatory areas respectively. This move takes the partner count to nine.
Moya is widely experienced in representing clients in administrative and judicial proceedings. Her experience includes participating in due diligence processes, analysis of tax consequences of mergers and acquisitions and several complex transactions and tax planning structures. She holds a master’s degree in international taxation from New York University and is part of the International Fiscal Association (IFA).
Samaniego has more than 10 years’ experience in the regulatory area, especially in matters related to food law, advertising, consumer goods, pharmaceutical products, chemicals, biological, agricultural, cosmetic and hygienic, among others. He supervises processes of obtaining permits and authorizations, due diligence, client defense in administrative and judicial proceedings, management of complex issues and crisis management. He also handles trade matters and quality standards, as well as other processes required for the sale and exploitation of products and services.
