Colombian bank Banco Finandina has secured a $75 million sustainability-linked loan from the International Finance Corporation.

The financing promotes sustainable mobility and strengthens access to funding for small and medium-sized companies, especially those led by women, contributing to a greener, more inclusive Colombia aligned with global climate commitments.

Banco Finandina is a digital bank providing financial services through its app and online, allowing customers to have easier access to their finances, and which also provides loans for personal financing solutions.

The International Finance Corporation is an international financial institution headquartered in Washington, D.C. and a member of the World Bank Group that offers investment, advisory, and asset-management services to encourage private-sector development in less developed countries.

Finandina was advised on the structuring of the loan by law firm Posse Herrera Ruiz, with a team led by partner Jesús Albarrán, with Isabella Del Río.
