Colegios Peruanos completes fourth issuance of securitized bonds

Colegios Peruanos, which operates under the commercial name Innova Schools and manages primary and secondary schools in Lima and several provinces of Peru, has successfully completed the issuance of its fourth securitized bonds for S/35 million ($8.75 million), maturing in 2028.

This issuance involved the elaboration, negotiation and closing of the trust agreement, the informative prospectus, the placement agreement, and the personal guarantee granted by the originator, among other documents.

In addition to Colegios Peruanos as originator, Credicorp Capital acted as structuring and placement agent, while Internacional de Títulos Sociedad Titulizadora (Intertitulos) acted as issuer, trustee and representative of the bondholders. 

This issuance was executed via a private offer addressed to institutional investors.

The securities were deposited by book entries in CAVALI's accounting registry and the Bonds were placed at a nominal fixed interest rate of 9.85%.

BBGS Saco-Vertiz & Landerer Abogados (BBGS Perú) advised Colegios Peruanos in its role of originator and guarantor. The firm’s team was led by partners Carlos Saco-Vertiz Tudela and Gerardo Guzmán Espino., with legal assistant Ygor Valderrama.

Law firm Miranda & Amado advised the structuring and placement agent and Intertitulos was advised by its in-house legal team, led by Ashlie Bobadilla.
