CMS Rodríguez-Azuero promotes partner

Colombian law firm CMS Rodríguez-Azuero has announced Felipe Molano’s appointment as a partner of the Firm.

Felipe currently serves as associate director in the firm’s corporate/M&A and commercial law practices, and his promotion further strengthens the Firm’s ability to support domestic and international clients on strategic M&A, private equity and venture capital investments, financing, and capital markets matters.

His appointment reflects a distinguished career, strong academic credentials, and more than 15 years of experience advising clients on complex corporate/M&A, commercial, and financial law matters, with a practical, business-oriented, and sophisticated approach.

Throughout his career, Felipe has advised companies across different sectors on the design and implementation of legal strategies to address regulatory, transactional, and risk management challenges in an increasingly demanding environment.

Felipe advises domestic and international clients on M&A transactions, private equity and venture capital investments, financing transactions, and capital markets matters, combining deep technical knowledge with a strategic understanding of clients’ commercial priorities.

His experience includes drafting and negotiating key agreements, such as share purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements, trust agreements, and other commercial documents and agreements, as well as structuring legal solutions in highly complex scenarios.

He graduated in law from the Universidad de los Andes, where he also earned a specialization in financial legislation, and he holds a master’s degree in international business law from the National University of Singapore. Over the course of his career, he has built a recognized practice in corporate/M&A and commercial law, working on significant matters for local and international clients and establishing a reputation for sound judgment, leadership, and execution.

In recent years, through his practice at CMS Rodríguez-Azuero, Felipe has advised clients on the structuring and negotiation of sophisticated corporate and commercial transactions, contributing to the continued strengthening of the firm’s offering in an area of growing importance to the market.
