After spending 4 months as interim boss, Claus Jørgensen has been officially appointed CEO of Luxembourg’s VP Bank.

Claus Jørgensen became interim CEO in May, following the resignation of his predecessor Thomas Steiger, who stepped down early of his own volition.

Jørgensen has more than 25 years’ experience in the financial sector and in fund management, 15 of which were spent in the financial center of Luxembourg. His career has taken him to Danske Bank Group, the Copenhagen Stock Exchange and Nordea Bank.

In 2018, he took over as the VP Bank’s head of client business and was responsible for the private banking, external asset managers, fund services and investment advisory & portfolio management divisions.

A valued management figure and respected financial professional” is how CEO of VP Bank Groul, Paul Arni, describes him.
