Tortello Iturrieta Abogados Laborales, a Chilean firm specializing in labor litigation, has announced its launch.

After extensive experience in labor law, former attorneys from UH&C Abogados have joined forces to launch Tortello Iturrieta Abogados Laborales, a boutique firm that will provide specialized legal counsel in labor matters.

David Tortello Brito, a graduate of the Universidad de Los Andes and former head of labor litigation at UH&C, along with Benjamín Iturrieta Errázuriz, a graduate of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and former head of the labor team at UH&C, have dedicated nearly all of their more than 10 years of professional experience to labor law matters, representing clients in industries such as retail, mining, healthcare,

insurance, construction, real estate, agribusiness, and transportation, among others.

With experience at leading firms specializing in this field, they joined forces

at UH&C, where both have led the labor practice for the past four years. From there, they decided to branch out and establish a new firm specializing in labor matters of all kinds.

“Specialization in this area has been in high demand in recent years, due to the increase in litigation, greater regulation in the workplace, rulings issued by the Labor Directorate that reinterpret the law, and the new forms of work emerging due to technological disruption,” they explain.

In March 2026, they began operating under the name Tortello Iturrieta Abogados, representing clients from various productive sectors and providing advice on labor litigation, immigration law, and individual and collective labor law.
