Chile’s Barros Silva Varela & Vigil promotes partner

Until now, he was head of the corporate area and developed the firm's compliance practice.

Sebastián holds a law degree from the Universidad de los Andes and a diploma in corporate taxation from the same university, as well as an LLM from University College London.

He has more than 14 years of experience in corporate matters and joined the firm in 2017.

Following his promotion, he becomes the 11th partner of the firm, and which has 46 associates.

Regarding the promotion, Fernando Barros Vial, founding partner of the firm, said: “The incorporation of Sebastián as partner in charge of the compliance area is a natural step and reaffirms the consolidation of the firm as a multi-service office”.
