Cepas Group Acquires Bacardi Martini Subsidiaries in Chile and Uruguay

Cepas Group, an Argentinian beverage company, and Bacardi Limited, one of the world's largest alcoholic beverages company, signed an agreement on September 8th of this year for the operations of Bacardi Limited Chile and Bacardi Limited Uruguay.

The purchase of Bacardi Martini Chile S.A. and Bacardi Martini Uruguay S.A. puts Cepas group in exclusive charge of distributing Bacardi global brands in these two countries and it also assumes the role of copacker of the products that will continue to be produced locally, expanding productivity in the region.

 

Cepas Group, through one of its subsidiaries, acquired all the capital stock Bacardi Martini had on the accounts in both countries.

This agreement makes it possible to consolidate a competitive regional production platform, with integrated manufacturing plants and distribution centers in Argentina, Chile and Uruguay.
