BSP Promotes Three Counsel, Four Senior Associates and Eleven Associates

BSP, a well-established Luxembourg firm, recently announced a range of new promotions, “all of them well-deserved,” according to Alain Steichen, the firm’s managing partner.

BSP, a well-established Luxembourg firm, recently announced a range of new promotions, “all of them well-deserved,” according to Alain Steichen, the firm’s managing partner.


Pol Mellina, Daniel Riedel and Audrey Risser have been appointed as counsel. Mellina joined the tax department in 2014, qualified as a Luxembourg lawyer the same year and regularly advises corporate and individual clients on both domestic and international tax issues, focusing on cross-border transactions and tax litigation. Riedel is also part of the tax department, advising corporations, partnerships and private individuals on a whole range of domestic and international tax issues, while Risser is a litigator regularly involved in complex domestic and multijurisdictional disputes resolution, with a focus on real estate, commercial and corporate matters.

 

Eda Herguner Dripps, Magedeline Mounir, Caroline Reppert, Elzbieta Tumko were promoted senior associates while a host of young lawyers became associates: Marc-Alexandre Bieber, Marta Gajos, Claire Jordan-Dandrau, Towfik Kadri, Kateryna Nevmerzhytska, Dimitra Panomitrou, Olivier Schank, Laura Simmonds, Carolina Vasselli, Axel Voisard and Pauline Wirtzler. “These lawyers’ hard work greatly contributed to our firm’s excellent results last year. We are proud of them because they are truly representative of the values this firm stands for: quality, dedication and diversity,” said Alain Steichen.

 

Also of note, the recent arrival of Anneleen Hofkens as counsel in the corporate M&A department.
