Bonfiglioli Transmission Limited files for initial public offering on the Mumbai Stock Exchange
Posted on Feb 20, 2026

Bonfiglioli Transmission Limited, an Indian subsidiary controlled by the Italian group Bonfiglioli S.p.A., has filed its Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). The filing marks the official request for the admission of its shares to trading on the Mumbai Stock Exchange. Bonfiglioli S.p.A. is a prominent specialist in the manufacturing of motors, gearboxes, and inverters.
The required public float for the listing will be achieved through a partial offer for sale by the parent company, Bonfiglioli S.p.A. This strategic move allows the group to localise its capital structure in India, a key market for its industrial operations, while maintaining its presence as a primary shareholder.
Deloitte Legal provided legal assistance to Bonfiglioli S.p.A. throughout the process. The multidisciplinary team was coordinated by partner and head of capital markets Gianfilippo Pezzulo and of counsel Gianvincenzo Lucchini, with the support of associate Eleonora Neri.
