Buenos Aires-based law firm Bomchil has announced the appointment of Máximo José Bomchil as a partner.
Máximo has been with the firm since 2006 in its financial services and capital markets and corporate practice areas. He is a graduate of the Universidad de Buenos Aires in 2007 and obtained an LLM in banking, corporate and finance law from Fordham University in New York in 2011.
He focuses on corporate conflicts, mergers and acquisitions and financings, advising local and international clients in corporate, contractual, regulatory and consumer defense matters.
In 2011 he served as an international associate at the New York offices of law firm Chadbourne & Parke.
He is a member of the Department of Economic and Business Law of the University of Buenos Aires and member of the Public Bar and Bar Association of the City of Buenos Aires, and is the author of a number of publications on commercial law issues.
He is also a professor in the Department of Economic and Business Law of the University of Buenos Aires.
