Big Four Upheaval in Germany

PWC has seen the defection of a number of renowned partners along with their teams.  The partners left PWC Legal’s German public sector team to join EY, KPMG or GSK Stockmann, in some cases bringing their entire teams with them.

EY Law gained antitrust partner Hubertus Kleene, M&A and corporate partner Robert Manger, energy expert partner Boris Scholtka, equity partner Christoph Fabritius and his team of 13 lawyers, equity partner and specialist in the public transport sector Maren Weber, as well as 9 professionals belonging to her team.

Corporate lawyer Harald Maas and tax lawyer Steffen Döring left PWC Legal to join KPMG as partners. KPMG also convinced the entire PWC Legal energy law team to jump ship,, including  leading energy law advisor Marc Goldberg .

GSK Stockmann added former PWC Legal partner Friedrich Haussman to their banking and state aid law team. Two associates followed Haussman from PwC Legal, Sebastian Dabbagh and Fabian Schiefner.
