Auxadi expands Legal Services with acquisition of Afiens Legal

Auxadi, a Spanish firm specializing in international accounting, tax, and payroll services operating in over 50 countries with subsidiaries in 22 jurisdictions, has announced the acquisition of Afiens Legal, an alternative legal service provider.

As part of the integration, Afiens’ CEO and founder, Lorena Salamanca, along with its Head of Operations, Santiago Torrejón, and the entire Afiens team, will join Auxadi’s structure starting March 1. The legal firm will now operate under the Afiens by Auxadi brand.

Following the acquisition, Lorena Salamanca will lead Auxadi’s Legal Secretarial Services (CoSec) and paralegal services division, with a strategic focus on expanding these offerings internationally across the firm’s 50+ markets. This move aligns with Auxadi’s growth strategy, following previous acquisitions such as Resolve in 2021—covering Costa Rica, Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Honduras—and DMS in the Netherlands in 2023. With nearly 300 employees serving 1,300+ clients, Auxadi continues its mission to be an international extension of its clients’ accounting and payroll departments.
