Argentina’s Pampa Energía makes $966m bond issuance

The bonds’ dollar-value equivalent is around $966.7 million.
The notes were issued on July 15th under the non-convertible simple notes and/or negotiable obligations convertible into shares program for up to $2 billion, or its equivalent in other currencies.
Series 11 notes, denominated and payable in pesos, bear a variable interest rate resulting from the addition of the applicable margin to the reference rate. The notes will mature on January 15th, 2024.
Pampa Energía is currently the largest independent energy integrated company in Argentina, with active participation in the country’s electricity and gas value chain.
The placement agents for the issuance were Banco Santander Argentina, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Argentina), HSBC Bank Argentina, Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires, Balanz Capital Valores, SBS Trading, Banco Mariva, Banco Hipotecario, BACS Banco de Crédito y Securitización, Cocos Capital, Banco de Servicios y Transacciones, Banco Comafi and Banco BBVA Argentina.
Also acting as placement agents were Invertir en Bolsa, Banco Patagonia, Industrial Valores, BNP Paribas Sucursal Buenos Aires, Banco de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, TPCG Valores, Puente Hnos., Allaria Ledesma & Cía, ARP Partners, Macro Securities, Banco Itaú Argentina and Itaú Valores.
The placement agents were advised by Argentine law firm Bruchou & Funes de Rioja, with a team comprising partner José María Bazán and associates Leandro Exequiel Belusci and Manuel Rodriguez Costi.
.Pampa Energía was advised on the bond issuance by local law firm Salaverri, Burgio & Wetzler Malbrán, with a team comprising partner Roberto Lizondo and associates Lucía de Miceu and Sofía Seoane.
