Argentina’s Berton Moreno IP Law Launches
Argentine law firm Berton Moreno IP Law has launched, a specialist intellectual property practice, following the firm’s departure from the combination that was known as Berton Moreno + Ojam, and which was launched in 2017.
Berton Moreno IP Law advises clients on all areas of intellectual property law, trademark protection, copyright, domain names, etc., covering areas relating to publicity and marketing, and with a special focus on the entertainment industry, technology, sports, fashion, pharmaceuticals and general commerce in general.
BM IP Law responds to the current challenges and needs of a demanding market, with the experience and prestige of its team, the modern focus that its new generation of law professionals provides, and the backing of 80 years of tradition of the Berton Moreno family in the industrial and intellectual property fields.
Its leadership in Argentina extends to the world thanks to a trusted network of foreign correspondents in the markets in which its clients operate, supporting them in their international expansion.
The firm’s team comprises four partners, one of counsel and five associates.
Founding partner Alberto Berton Moreno Jr, is a specialist in trademarks, patents, copyright and marketing. He's focused on industries such as entertainment, sports, fashion, technology and retail, among others.
For his part, Juan Berton Moreno is also a founding member of the firm, who has served as a director on the executive committee of the Inter-American Intellectual Property Association (ASIPI), and now is a member of the Board of the Argentine IP Association (AAAPI).
Partner Ricardo Amigo, an experienced practitioner, advises on trademark portfolio management, patent filing strategy and all IP related areas while partner Enrique Gatti, a top IP litigator, has been advising clients for several decades.
