ANDIAL Quantum Systems and Chelpis establish quantum security joint venture for the DACH market

Posted on Jul 9, 2026

ANDIAL Quantum Systems and Taiwan-based Chelpis Quantum Corporation have established CHANDAL Quantum Group GmbH, a joint venture dedicated to developing quantum-safe cybersecurity solutions and sovereign AI infrastructure across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The newly created company will hold the exclusive rights to Chelpis' quantum security technologies in the DACH region. Its offering is designed to support governments and operators of critical infrastructure as they prepare for the transition to post-quantum cybersecurity, with services ranging from cryptographic migration and quantum-resistant encryption to secure semiconductor technologies, protected communications and sovereign data centre solutions.

The venture comes amid growing efforts across Europe to strengthen digital sovereignty and prepare public institutions and critical industries for emerging cybersecurity threats associated with quantum computing. CHANDAL Quantum Group will target clients including public authorities, financial institutions, healthcare providers, energy companies and industrial businesses.

Founded in Vienna, ANDIAL Quantum Systems focuses on quantum-safe technologies and digital sovereignty. Its partner, Taiwan-headquartered Chelpis Quantum Corporation, specialises in quantum-safe encryption, semiconductor security and AI infrastructure for government and critical infrastructure projects worldwide. The company is also listed as a research partner of Germany's Cyberagentur.

The transaction was signed on 3 July 2026 in Vienna. Austrian law firm Schoenherr advised ANDIAL Quantum Systems on the establishment of the joint venture and the negotiation of the transaction documentation. The legal team was led by Niklas Kerschbaumer and included partner Marco Thorbauer, attorney Daniela Birnbauer and associate Alexander Giehser.
