Argentine law firm Allende & Brea has announced the addition of Antonio Arias as a partner, strengthening its corporate, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and venture capital practices.

Prior to joining Allende & Brea, he served as co-leader of mergers and acquisitions and venture capital leader in Argentina, as well as regional co-leader of the emerging growth and venture capital practice for Latin America at DLA Piper.
His practice focuses on advising investors, funds, and companies on complex transactions, including M&A, venture capital, financing and structuring of funds and corporate matters, with a particular emphasis on cross-border issues. He regularly advises global technology companies, private equity funds and financial institutions, energy sector companies, as well as startups at various stages of development, from early funding rounds to exits and international expansion.
Among the industries in which he practices, the technology and energy sectors stand out, with extensive experience in oil and gas and renewable energies.
He also has experience in capital markets, debt restructurings, and project finance, strengthening the firm's capabilities in sophisticated financial transactions.
