Thommen Group Completes Acquisition of Rizzinox

Thommen Group AG, a Swiss leader in the recycling of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, has finalized the acquisition of a controlling stake in Rizzinox S.r.l., one of Italy’s foremost companies in stainless steel recycling. This strategic move enhances Thommen Group’s presence in the Italian market and augments Rizzinox’s ability to generate value in the industry, leveraging Thommen’s extensive expertise in stainless steel recycling.

Thommen Group AG, headquartered in Switzerland, is renowned globally for its leadership in metal recycling, specializing in both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The acquisition of Rizzinox S.r.l., a leading Italian recycler of stainless steel, marks a significant expansion into the Italian market. Rizzinox is recognized for its advanced recycling processes and strong industry presence in Italy.

Assisting Thommen Group AG in the acquisition, Giovannelli e Associati provided comprehensive legal counsel throughout the transaction.
