Soul-K raises 20.5 million euros

Soul-K, an Italian food tech company operating in the B2B sector and a pioneer in food industry innovation, has closed a round totaling 20.5 million euros in equity and bank financing.
The company’s capital increase was underwritten by CDP Venture Capital SGR through the Corporate Partners I Fund - IndustryTech Portfolio, LiFTT S.p.A. and Azimut Libera Impresa SGR, the venture capital fund managed by SIMEST on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in addition to Al.Ma. Food.
Soul-K also obtained a bank loan from BancaTer in collaboration with the Frie Fund.
Law firm Cappelli RCCD assisted CDP Venture Capital SGR with the focus team CRCCD Venture, led by partners Guido Masini and Nicola Caielli and composed of senior associate Alberto Elmi (in the picture) and associates Adriano Facchini and Livia Zaccheo.
For CDP Venture Capital, SGR acted as the in-house legal team, led by the team’s director Alessandro di Gioia and which included Francesca Galetti.
EY Studio Legale Tributario assisted Soul-K, founder Andrea Cova, as well as previous partners and investors with a team composed of Renato Giallombardo, lead partner for M&A and private equity, senior manager Luca Spagna (in the picture) and manager Annachiara Mastellone.
On the co-investor side, LiFTT was assisted by law firm Sani Zangrando with a team comprising lawyers Stefano Zangrando, Francesco Santoro and Marianna Moscarelli.
Gatti Pavesi Bianchi Ludovici assisted Al.Ma Food, with a team composed of equity partner Franco Barucci and associate Gianludovico Maggi (in the picture).
