Séché Environnement acquires Peru’s ESSAC

Séché Environnement, part of the Séché Group, a French industrial group specialized in the treatment and recovery of all types of waste and decontamination services, has acquired 100% of the shares of Peruvian company Engineering Services S.A.C. (ESSAC).

Séché Environnement is listed on the Paris stock exchange and operates in several countries.

Séché entered the Peruvian market in 2017, providing comprehensive services for hazardous waste management.

ESSAC, founded more than 40 years ago, is dedicated to providing comprehensive safety engineering solutions, including emergency response and fire safety and protection. 

This strategic acquisition will enable Séché to expand its presence in certain industries in the country, such as mining, gas, construction, and real estate, among others.

Law firm Rebaza, Alcázar & De Las Casas advised Séché Environnement on the acquisition, with a team led by partners Alberto Rebaza and Daniel Gonzáles, with senior associate Rafael Santín and associate María José García.

Mazars acted as financial counsel to Séché Environnement, with a team led by

Francois Marion, while Séché Environnement’s in-house counsel were Neil Curtis and Bacel Moukhalalati.

ESSAC was advised by law firm Payet, Rey, Cauvi, Pérez, with a team led by partner Juan José Cauvi, with senior associate Guillermo Arribas and associate Camila Flores. ESSAC was also counseled financially by Apoyo Consultoría, with a team led by Eduardo Campos, Mauricio Concha and Javier del Río.
