Rajant Corporation acquires stake in Italian IoT company Reios

US-based Rajant Corporation has acquired a majority stake in Reios S.r.l., a Novara, Italy-based IoT technology company.

The acquisition took place through an articulated transaction as a result of which Rajant Corporation, indirectly through Rajant Italia S.r.l., owns a 60% stake in Reios, with the remaining 40% held by SunComm S.r.l., the original sole shareholder of Reios.

Reios develops solutions aimed at offering its customers greater control over the operational aspects of a company, and aimed at monitoring and reducing energy consumption and improving the safety and quality of life of workers in the workplace.

Rajant Corporation is the broadband communications technology company that offers its clients on-demand business intelligence solutions for so-called mission-critical activities.

Italian law firm Giovannelli e Associati assisted SunComm and Reios in all legal and corporate aspects of the transaction, with a team led by partner Ganvittorio Giroletti Angeli, and who was assisted by associate Francesca di Lorenzo.

Rajant was assisted in the transaction by law firm Bosco & Associates, with a team led by partner Michael Bosco.
