Portuguese startup Nutrium closes a €4.25 million seed funding round led by Indico

Braga-based startup, Nutrium, a digital health platform which links dietitians and their patients via an app, has raised a €4.25 million seed round led by Indico Capital Partners, alongside the Social Innovation Fund in Portugal (SIF).

Nutrium supports more than 80,000 nutritionists and 800,000 patients in over 40 countries, and with this investment, it plans to double the team in the next 24 months and reinforce the app´s presence in markets like Spain, France, Italy, the United States and the UK.

Cuatrecasas advised Indico Capital Partners in this matter, with a team from the Lisbon office comprised of partner Vasco Bivar de Azevedo and associate João Stock da Cunha.
