Founding partner Juan Carlos Zegarra brings a wealth of experience to the firm, having held the position of partner at Zuzunaga, Assereto & Zegarra Abogados for more than 15 years, and he also held the position of principal associate at Rubio Leguia Normand Asociados.
He holds an MBA from Tulane University’s AB Freeman School of Business, and a master’s degree and a degree in law from the Universidad Pontificia Católica del Perú (PUCP).
For her part, fellow founding partner Evelyn Yauri also worked at Zuzunaga, Assereto & Zegarra Abogados, and during her 13-year stint at the firm held the position of partner from May 2023 to April 2024, before joining forces with Juan Carlos Zegarra to found the new firm. She also clocked up more than two years’ experience in tax consultancy at EY.
She holds a JD in law from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, and completed a specialist course in tax law at PUCP.
The new, Lima-headquartered firm provides legal services mainly focused on tax and corporate advisory, tax defense, investment planning and protection, international taxation, transfer pricing and tax works.
