Miura appoints Jordi Alegre as managing partner and Fernando Clúa as partner

Spanish private equity firm Miura Private Equity has appointed Jordi Alegre as managing partner and Fernando Clúa as a partner.

Alegre, who has been with Miura since its inception in 2007 after joining from Mercapital, was promoted to partner in 2014.


Clúa joined Miura in 2015 and, since then, has been particularly active in sectors such as agribusiness, industrials and business services. He previously worked at Advent International in their London and Madrid offices.

In 2019, Miura closed its Miura Frutas Fund, the largest agribusiness fund in Europe with a size of €360 million. In 2018, it closed Miura Fund III, its third buy-out and growth fund of €330 million.


The firm has €1 billion of assets under management.
