Mexico’s Pérez Correa González announces partner promotion
Mexican law firm Pérez Correa González (PCG) has announced the addition of Ixchel Pedraza as a partner in its litigation, arbitration and mediation practice.

Ixchel has more than 10 years’ experience in civil and commercial litigation in key sectors in Mexico, such as automotive, real estate, engineering and private equity.
She has participated in local and international arbitration cases, and insolvency and bankruptcy cases.
Her promotion to partner comes after a successful trajectory within the firm as an associate, where she has represented private companies across a broad range of sectors, as well as advising public institutions in their adaptation to local legislation regarding judicial matters.
She holds a law degree from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and with a specialization in business law from the same university.
“With this promotion, PCG reaffirms its commitment to elemental factors such as inclusion and gender equality, strengthening the empowerment of women within the firm in favor of a more inclusive and better trained society. The promotion also reinforces the commitment and link to the firm’s clients,” the firm said in the press release.
“I am very grateful and excited by the trust that has been placed in me by my now partners,” Ixchel said regarding her promotion to partner at the firm. “This position reinforces my commitment to the firm, and my responsibility to orient and accompany future generations of lawyers,” she added.
