LCA Strengthens Litigation Team with Prof. Giulio Ponzanelli

LCA Studio Legale has announced the appointment of Prof. Giulio Ponzanelli as Of Counsel.

A leading figure in the Italian legal landscape, Prof. Ponzanelli has been a full professor of Private Law at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan since 2007, after holding academic positions at the Universities of Brescia and Pisa, the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, and Bocconi University. Throughout his career, he has combined academia with professional practice, contributing to the founding of Bonelli e Associati in 1992 – which later became BonelliErede – and providing high-level civil and commercial legal advice.

Prof. Ponzanelli has extensive experience in civil liability, contract law, and product liability, with particular expertise in the automotive, food, healthcare, and environmental sectors. He is also active in the nonprofit sector and in the assessment of pecuniary and non-pecuniary damages, topics on which he has produced highly regarded scholarly work.

Author of numerous studies and publications, he is the Director of the journal Danno e Responsabilità, a member of the editorial committee of La Nuova Giurisprudenza Civile Commentata, and part of the scientific board of Contratto e Impresa.
