Lab-go Raises €1.4 Million in Bridge Round Backed by Italian and Swiss Business Angels

The Brianza-based startup with “phygital” technology that is revolutionising authentication through patented QR codes has announced the closing of a €1.4 million bridge investment round.
The round was fully subscribed by a pool of prominent Italian and Swiss entrepreneurs acting as business angels, who chose to support Lab-go’s technological vision without the involvement of institutional funds, confirming the robustness of its business model applied to brand protection and fan engagement.
Lab-go has developed a proprietary technology based on patented QR codes that represents a radical evolution compared to traditional authentication systems. Unlike holograms, which are easily replicable, Lab-go’s system is characterised by a unique scan: once the certificate of authenticity is generated, the code changes its status, eliminating the possibility of cloning. This “one-shot” system makes counterfeiting virtually impossible, ensuring product authenticity at every stage of transfer.
Thanks to this innovation, the startup has already earned the trust of leading brands in the sports and entertainment sectors, collaborating with most Serie A teams as well as international music icons such as Metallica, Iron Maiden and Linkin Park.
LawaL assisted Lab-go with a team coordinated by Piergiorgio Mancone, led by Andrea Villani and composed of Marco Baio.
