Kiloutou Group Acquires 100% of DEA S.r.l. in Italy

The Kiloutou Group has acquired 100% of the share capital of DEA S.r.l., a general equipment rental company offering a dedicated range of aerial work platforms through its two branches in the city of Bologna and a fleet of over 400 units.

The transaction, carried out through the Italian holding company Kiloutou Holding S.r.l., represents a further step in the group’s expansion strategy in Italy, aimed at strengthening its presence in regional markets and consolidating its position among the leading national operators in professional rental services for the construction and industrial sectors. DEA’s branches will undergo a commercial rebranding to become part of the Kiloutou Italia network, which now includes 27 branches and 300 employees. This acquisition follows Kiloutou’s previous investments in Northern Italy and further strengthens its presence in Emilia-Romagna along the dynamic Ancona–Milan corridor.

Ughi e Nunziante Studio Legale assisted the Kiloutou Group. The firm advised on the transaction at all stages, from due diligence to closing, providing full legal assistance through a multidisciplinary team composed of Pietro Orzalesi, Agostino Frau, Marco Borrelli and Federico Catalfamo for corporate and contractual matters, as well as Federico Torzo, Elisabetta Rebagliati and Arianna Donatiello for employment law aspects. The tax aspects of the transaction for the buyer were also handled by Ughi e Nunziante, with Barbara Pizzoni and Linda Favi.

EY Parthenon acted as financial advisor to the buyer, with a team composed of Lucia Mazzuero and Andrea Maragliano.

The selling shareholders were assisted on legal matters by BLF Studio Legale, with Giovanni Ludergnani, Francesco Ludergnani and Gaetano Ruvolo, and as financial advisor by Studio MBA, with Massimo Bertoni and Marco Pancaldi, both based in Bologna.
