Fulbrook Capital Adds Trio of Experts

Robert Dinerstein has joined the company as president. A specialist in banking and securities regulation, international capital markets issues, corporate governance and risk management, Mr. Dinerstein has had direct oversight of many major strategic financing transactions, investigations, litigations and risk assessments. In financing, he was chairman of Crossbow Ventures and member of the executive committee of the Institute of International Bankers. In law practice, he has been global co-chair of the financial institutions practice at Greenberg Traurig and prior to that worked at Debevoise & Plimpton.
Previously, Mr. Dinerstein served as executive vice president and general counsel of Shearson Lehman Brothers and was also vice president and general counsel of Citicorp’s Investment Bank, before working as vice chairman-Americas and global general counsel of UBS Investment Bank. He is currently chairman of Veracity Worldwide and chairman of the compliance and risk committee of Amalgamated Bank.
The company also saw Louis Sampanis arrive as expert advisor Europe, overseeing development and administration of the firm’s London-based European operations, and holding oversight responsibility for financial planning and management, and capital raising. He has over 20 years’ finance and investment banking experience in the global debt capital markets and got involved in the litigation finance industry in 2011.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Sampanis held different positions with Bank of America, Deutsche Bank, Agincourt and Scotia Capital. He established and built debt private placement businesses in London and New York, and worked with corporate issuers, institutional investors and leading law firms to price, structure, document and close long-term debt financing totaling approximately $4 billion.
The New York office welcomed its new Executive Administrator, Irene DaCunha, whose responsibilities will include assisting in forming company policies, organizing global operations, as well as supporting directors, capital needs and deployment, and research.
Founded in 2011 by leading lawyer and litigation funding pioneer Selvyn Seidel, Fulbrook Capital Management has two offices in the USA and puts particular focus on funding complex commercial claims in areas including: financial distress and insolvency; breach of contract and fraud; certain claims involving financial service entities; selected claims in international arbitration, covering a wide range, certain patent and IP claims; and selected specialty areas like whistle blower, insurance and reinsurance claims, and enforcement of international judgments.
