Eversheds Sutherland launches three new office openings across Europe

In line with its continuing its international expansion and as part of its 2020 strategy, multinational London-headquartered firm Eversheds Sutherland is launching three new offices across Europe in Luxembourg and Russia. Co-chief executive Lee Ranson shares over the expansion that "Luxembourg and Russia are both a natural fit for us in terms of our client base, practice strength and geography.”

In Luxembourg, the office opened on September 6th and will focus on investment funds and corporate work, led by José Ignacio Pascual Gutiérrez and Viviane de Moreau d’Andoy together with a team of five, all from Simmons & Simmons.

 

In Russia, Eversheds was set to open on September 15th with the acquisition of Hannes Snellman offices. The Russian team will be led by corporate partner Victoria Goldman, who was previously a managing partner for both Hannes Snellman’s offices in Moscow and Saint Petersburg. The team consists of five partners and 17 lawyers with a 25-year track in Russian soil, and will focus particularly on real estate, litigation, corporate M&A and corporate crime and investigations advice.

Eversheds Sutherland is present in 32 countries and now has 66 offices worldwide.
