Ethica Wines, an international group specialising in Italian wines and recognised by the Financial Times as one of the Fastest-Growing Companies of the Americas in 2025, has signed an agreement to acquire Interprocom Cantine Divine (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Interprocom has operated as a leading importer and distributor of Italian wines in the Chinese market for over 10 years, serving commercial partners across the entire national territory.
The final closing of the transaction is scheduled for 30 April 2026. The agreement is designed to create a platform dedicated exclusively to Italian wines in China, aimed at integrating complementary expertise into the buyer’s group in line with evolving market dynamics. The move consolidates Ethica Wines’ position as a strategic link between Italian producers and the Asian consumer base.
Cappelli Riolo Calderaro Crisostomo Del Din & Partners (CRCCD) assisted Ethica Wines with a team led by partners Guido Masini and Nicola Caielli, alongside associate Marco Renzi.
The international law firm DLA Piper advised Interprocom with a multi-jurisdictional team supervised by partner Dino Dima and coordinated by lawyer Amedeo Barbato. The team included partner Carlotta Benigni for the tax aspects of the transaction, of counsel Claudio d’Agostino, head of Asia Connect, and colleagues Tina Xia and Lexie Wen from DLA Piper Hong Kong for all matters relating to local law.
