Von Voß brings nearly two decades of leadership experience in complex corporate transactions and governance from one of Europe’s leading media conglomerates. He joined ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG in 2005 from Allen & Overy, where he began his career in corporate and M&A law. Initially appointed Head of Corporate Law, von Voß rose through the ranks to become Chief Legal Officer in 2016, overseeing the legal aspects of the group’s expansion, strategic partnerships, and portfolio restructuring efforts.
After leaving ProSiebenSat.1 in April 2025, von Voß briefly joined Munich-based M&A advisory atares before moving into the industrial sector with Deutz. His appointment marks a strategic move by the German engine manufacturer to strengthen its legal and compliance function amid a shifting regulatory landscape and increasing international expansion.
Founded in 1864, Deutz AG is one of the world’s oldest independent engine manufacturers, supplying diesel and alternative drive systems to the construction, agricultural, and industrial sectors. The company has recently intensified its focus on sustainable technologies and global market growth—areas where von Voß’s transactional expertise is expected to play a key role.
“Alexander von Voß’s deep understanding of complex deal structures and corporate governance will be instrumental as Deutz continues to pursue its transformation and international growth strategy,” commented an industry observer.
With this appointment, Deutz signals its intent to pair industrial tradition with strategic agility—reinforcing the role of its legal department as a driver of corporate development.
