Dentons hires Herbert Smith Freehills' Spain employment head Eduardo Gómez de Enterría
Dentons’ Madrid office has recruited the head of Herbert Smith Freehills labour practice in Spain, Eduardo Gómez de Enterría.
Eduardo Gómez de Enterría
Gómez de Enterría, who will become a partner at Dentons, had been a partner at Herbert Smith Freehills. He had been with the firm for six years.
Prior to that he was a partner at Sagardoy Abogados.
His areas of expertise include hiring, dismissals, occupational health and safety, pension plans and incentive plans for employees and managers, as well as the negotiation and implementation of collective agreements, collective dismissals and corporate restructuring.
Earlier this week, it was revealed that Dentons is set to appoint Jabier Badiola as its new Spain managing partner. It follows the news that Jesús Varela, who had been Dentons’ Spain managing partner for just over a year, is to leave the firm – along with two other partners from Dentons’ Madrid office, José Ramón Vizcaino and Julio Parrilla - to join Pérez-Llorca.
