Daniel Mazini takes over as Country Manager of Amazon Brazil

On May 5, multinational tech giant Amazon announced its new Country Manager for Brazil, distinguished executive and former head of retail, Daniel Mazini. Mr. Mazini rejoins Amazon after a 12-month stint as Chief Product Officer at Brazilian fintech Neon.
With nearly two decades in the technology market, Mr. Mazini previously worked for major names such as Accenture and Vodafone before joining Amazon in 2009 in the United Kingdom. He later served as the company's International Expansions Product Manager at Amazon headquarters in Seattle, before joining the Amazon Brazil’s team in 2014, where he eventually progressed to Head of Retail in 2017.
Academically, Mr. Mazini obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) and an MBA degree from London Business School (LBS), where he also presided the Technology Club and was the co-chair of its Media Summit in 2009.
