Cegid Acquires Meta4

Cegid, a specialist in management solutions in the areas of accounting, tax, payroll and human resources, ERP and retail, has strengthened its position in the payroll and human resources solutions market with the acquisition of Meta4, the leading Spanish cloud solutions publisher. The deal closed October 2nd.

This important step enables Cegid to become a leader in the sector with a total of 22 million people using its products. The acquisition of Meta4 allows Cegid to complete its current range and open up key accounts in Spain, Portugal and LatAm.

The combination with Meta4 enables Cegid to provide companies of all sizes on the French market with a complete range of payroll and human resources software and opens up to new international expansion opportunities. As Pascal Houillon, CEO of Cegid said:
