CDP Venture Capital SGR invests in Saporo

CDP Venture Capital SGR, Italy’s largest venture capital operator, has made an investment in Saporo through its Corporate Partners I fund. Saporo is an innovative Swiss company that is redefining digital identity protection in an increasingly complex and challenging cybersecurity landscape.

CastaldiPartners advised CDP Venture Capital SGR. The transaction was handled by the partner Riccardo Gotti Tedeschi and the manager Margherita Luppi, with support from Umberto Milano of Kellerhals Carrard for Swiss law aspects. Saporo was advised by LEXR, with a team led by the partner Michele Vitali and the managing associate Yannick Bucher.

In addition to CDP Venture Capital SGR, the investment also included participation from TIN Capital | European Cybersecurity Investors, Giesecke+Devrient Ventures, XAnge, Lightbird VC and session VC.

CDP Venture Capital handled the transaction with its internal legal team led by Alessandro Di Gioia, head of the team, and assisted inter alia by Martina Lovato.
