Axpo Italy Names Marco Ancora as Data Protection Lead

Axpo Italy has appointed Marco Ancora as Data Protection Officer, responsible for personal data protection across all Axpo companies operating in Italy. He will also support as subject matter expert (SME) for data protection matters group-wide.

Ancora joins from Syensqo SA (formerly Solvay Group) where he served as Group DPO, bringing extensive experience in global data protection compliance. His appointment strengthens Axpo's commitment to robust data governance as the company expands its energy solutions portfolio.

Axpo Group is Switzerland's largest producer of renewable energy and an international leader in energy trading and marketing. The Italian subsidiary plays a key role in the group's European operations, providing innovative energy solutions both to business clients and to domestic market through Pulsee Luce e Gas.
